The food and coffee is good, but the friendly people are outstanding! To be clear, I'm in a wheelchair, but the staff and even other customers go out of their way to be accommodating. The coffee and food is better than good and very reasonably priced.
I feel bad for the staff at Just Love. They're doing their best, but it's clear that they're understaffed, overworked, underpaid, and probably disrespected by the majority of the clientele that frequents the place. Just recently, during my usual coffee run, one Karen threw a hissy fit because her latte wasn't insta worthy. The audacity of the lone barista/cashier. How dare they not make their drink look a certain way before it got consumed! Take it from me: Just Love is a good coffee shop. If they had more staff, it would be great. The coffee, pastries, and breakfast items are delicious. There's a super welcoming atmosphere despite the stress level exhibited by the staff. Again. Let me point out: they're doing their best. If you're reading this and decide to go, which I hope you do, go in with patience and kindness. There's a chance that the person behind the register is having a bad day fixing overpriced coffee for an underpriced payrate.

I ordered a latte with almond milk and my friend ordered a chai latte and we both liked our drinks. The atmosphere was great and its was a very social feel. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I got a medium and it was around $6.50, then after I tipped it was over $7. To me that is more than I want to pay on a regular basis. A once in a while treat is fine but I cannot make this a regular place to visit with those prices. * Note, if part of their proceeds regularly go to charitable foundations or causes, then I suppose I could justify the extra surcharge and it would be a great place to bring friends or work colleagues since you need to have a meeting somewhere anyway. I am certainly going to go here over the green Mermaid corporate giant that serves crud for coffee, especially for group orders! I'd rather support local every day of the week!
Went this morning and ordered the iced oat milk chai latte. One of the better iced chais I've had in Nashville. Dropped a star for the customer service. It was about 7:30 am so maybe she was tired, but the barista was the only employee I saw. She had an attitude and acted like I was inconveniencing her when I asked about the oat milk option and whether there was a decaf chai concentrate. A customer asking questions is normal, and she should be trained on handling inquiries. Mind you the shop was basically empty. Would return since the chai was great and for convenience, but will pre-order on app to avoid bad service.
